Can we participate in the 5K or Toddler Trot before the 1 mile race?

Yes, there is plenty of time to make your way back to the start line for the 1 mile race. It does involve walking back to the North Shore via the Ft Duquesne pedestrian bridge.

Are middle school students able to participate in the 1 mile race?

Middle school students are welcome to sign up for the 1 mile race under 'Montour Elementary'. This will enable them to be included in our early bib packet pick up. 

Can my child attend the after school training and decide later if they want to register for the 1 mile race?

There is no obligation to sign up for the 1 mile race. Some children choose after school training only, others do both or may only do the race due to other commitments.  There will be a deadline on the 1 mile race registration. It usually falls in early April. We will post it when it becomes available.

Do I need to send a note/email every week stating permission for my child to stay after school?

A note/email is a requirement EVERY WEEK we have a training session. Signing up each week is also imperative. We send a roster to teachers on training day based off of the google sign up form. Students are not permitted to stay if they are not on the roster or do not have permission to stay after school.  It also helps us prepare for the game plan as well as snacks.
