Staying active can mean winning some really cool prizes. Any form of physical activity - walking your dog, dance class, sports practice, or any other way that you MOVE can be counted and submitted! 15 minutes of moving can be counted as one mile. For example, 30 minutes of basketball practice = 2 miles.

By logging miles through P3R, your child will be helping the macot Cape Kid make it to the moon.

It will also make them eligible for the prize drawings.

Be sure to click on the link below to log miles!

About Us

This is the 12th year Montour has participated in the Kids of Steel program. Denise Boyle started the program with the assistance of the PTA in 2013 when her daughters were 8 and 6 years old. Her oldest, Samantha, is now in college. Her other daughter, Casey, is a senior at Montour. She helps with training sessions.

Jamie Marshall came on board 7 years ago when her oldest of three girls, Angela, was in Kindergarten. She still has two daughters, Izzie and Emma, that participate in the elementary school program.
